Brittany Cairns
Occupational Therapist
Brittany is a dedicated occupational therapist with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and a strong passion for child development, family support, and education. Originally beginning her studying journey with the intention of becoming a high school teacher, she discovered a deeper sense of purpose within the allied health field after her own meaningful experiences with occupational therapists. This shift sparked her commitment to supporting children and families through a holistic, relationship-centred approach.
Brittany is passionate about empowering parents and caregivers, believing that confident, informed families create long-lasting positive change for children. She values meeting each child and family exactly where they are – honouring their strengths, routines, and lived experiences – to ensure support is both realistic and sustainable. Her practice is grounded in connection, collaboration, and the belief that small steps lead to meaningful progress.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new hobbies, and trying different forms of exercise.
